The Llawnroc is located on the Roseland Peninsula, which is a quiet and secluded area full of attractive beaches and scenery for your holiday pleasure.

There are a couple of nearby towns within easy reach of the Llawnroc, such as Truro and St. Austell.

One of the amenities of this area is the King Harry Ferry, which operates all year long and crosses the river at least ten times each day, making for easy commuting. There is also a walking trail that leads to St. Mawes Ferry and this one also operates all year long. There are many other great adventures awaiting you here in Cornwall.

During May and June there is a festival held on the Fal River, known as the Fal River Festival. This festival's aim is to promote local fishing and to celebrate the life of living on the rier Fal.

The entire length of the river has something going on, so you are sure to find a spot to celebrate. There are many different varieties of events, such as music, demonstrations, and even fund raising opportunities. In addition to the Fal River Festival is also the Falmouth Fish Festival, whose aim is much the same as the Fal River Fest: celebrating life on the Roseland Peninsula and the major fishing industry that supports it.

In August is one of the most popular events for this area, the Henri Lloyd Falmouth Week. This is an annual regatta where boats from around the world get together to show off their stuff. Many different varieties of boats can be seen and it is a family-friendly adventure. Kids will be delighted by all the famous tall ships on display.

October is home to the popular Falmouth Oyster Festival, which attracts people from all over the world. This festival celebrates the end of oyster season and a successful season, at that. This festival features all types of foods and other distinct attractions.

Directly following the Oyster Festival is the great Roseland Festival. There are exhibitions galore, many drama displays, and even workshops, just to name a few of this festival's great attractions.

Come stay with us at the Llawnroc and see what Cornwall has to offer.
