"MEDICINAL PURPOSES", Founded and established in Plymouth uk as a three piece band in early 1996 & evolved into a 5-6 piece band & had many different members over the years Playing their querky Folk, rock, Jazzy fusion at venues, festivals and bike rally's in the west country and further afield around the uk. After a split in the band in 2002 & the loss of one of the Founding Members the late great "Billy the Bus" (Bill Mcgurk) (keybourd/organ) early march this year we have decided to re-group in Honour & Tribute to Billy on the 10th June 2012. AS IT STANDS, we are again in a three piece format, soon to be in a four piece format Playing Covers of all taste's & of course some new and old MP material. We hope to evolve & grow again in size and in the near future maybe welcome some new & old performer's.
